Capturing and eliminating heavy metals in industrial effluent: that is the aim of Capterall®, a wastewater treatment solution developed by Solvay and now owned by Prayon.

Capterall® solutions treat polluted water with a non-toxic, mineral-based product. It’s an absorbent that is injected in water, and pollutants are securely trapped through specific mechanisms and not released anymore. It can remove a wide range of pollutants from wastewater.

We are able, through a mineral adsorbent to reduce organic and inorganic micro-pollutants content in wastewaters. In comparison to existing competing technologies, we differentiate ourselves by employing a non-toxic, broad spectrum and lower CAPEX finishing solution Together with our partners, we can offer a complete fine-tunable solution from environmental consultancy, lab and onsite trials, customized engineering, product supply and technical assistance. We are able to tackle soluble inorganic (metals, heavy metals metalloids..) and some organic (PAH, Endocrine Active Substances, Aromatics like Phenol..) micro-pollutants

CAPTERALL solution, designed by PRAYON, to effectively capture fluorine and zinc from its wastewater. This product range offers an efficient solution for cleaning up industrial water. Products take the form of a powder or slurry, i.e., a mixture of water and solids, based on calcium phosphate. Once mixed with wastewater, the product acts like a sponge, absorbing heavy metals like copper, chromium, cadmium, zinc, aluminum, and even mercury that have been dumped in the water by treatment plants. The mixture is then left to settle and the adsorbent is removed.
